I cruise at least once a year on carnival - - I do enjoy cruising with them on any ship. The cruise ship was nice and clean. I totally hate the pool and hot tubs - - to many people. It was my fault I choose a cruise when school was out because it was swarmed with kids. I do feel the cruise line should choose a time that is just for adults because the kids never get out of the pool.
The negatives about the cruise is that I only saw my room server one time in 4 days. Also, he came in the room while I was in my birthday suit. He knocked but I didn't answer on purpose because it was a group cruise and I needed a moment to myself - - when I didn't answer he came in and saw all the goods. I was a bit upset but I guess he was just trying to do his job. Maybe the ship needs to utilize the "busy" door tag forreal. There were also less waitors to get drinks. I found myself always asking where was the waitor - - there wasn't enough to handle the ship passengers in my opinion. The workers seemed to be stressed out. They were nice but exerted no additional energy...except for the burger guys. They were cracking jokes and making us laugh.
I think the workers are being overworked. They were so busy, they never took a moment to look up and even hold a conversation. Their attitudes were rush rush...plus the weather was bad and we were unable to go to the Bay Island and had to stay on the ship which drove me crazy. The comedy show was bad each night and that is always the highlight of the cruise for me. The entertainment wasn't as exciting as I have experienced in the pain...there was less band performances. I also enjoyed the food - - they had lamb, turkey, ham that was pretty good.
