Sometimes I think I live in a parallel universe ! Some of the critical comments just don't add up. This was our first P&O cruise and won't be our last. We drove to the terminal and dropping the car off and baggage collection couldn't have been simpler. We were towards the back end of embarcation and had to wait about an hour but it was no big deal. The ship has all the atmosphere and ambience of a modern and high class London hotel. It is chic and understated. Our cabin was immaculate and whilst not huge it had plenty of space for our needs. Unless you're going to spend the whole cruise in your cabin, the balcony was fine. Plenty of room for two to sit or lounge.
To address some of the other comments. The lifts were absolutely fine. We were able to walk a lot of the time but there were no excessive waits for lifts when we needed one. The only beef was with other passengers who would insist in getting in a down direction lift when going up or vice versa then say with a laugh we're just going for the ride. The consequence is that you could be at the top of the ship facing a full lift of people wanting to go down.
Headliners was easy to get a seat in. The latest we left it was 5 minutes before a show. There were usually seats in the front rows available right up up till show start time. The strictly come dancing shows and the other 3 set piece shows were excellent. We always went to the 8.30 shows so I can't speak for the later one.
Getting to the port and parking the car couldn't have been easier.
