This was our 9th Annual Family Weekend Cruise. We all live in Orlando but chose to drive 4 hours to Miami to go on Enchantment (for the third time) rather than the older Majesty of the Seas that is now in nearby Port Canaveral. We wanted to avoid the small cabins on Majesty. It was an excellent choice. We parked at the garage right across from the ship around 12:30pm. Embarkation was quick and easy. Our party consisted of one senior, four adults in their 30s, a 14-year old and an 8-year old. We had four balcony rooms, and other than the small curtained showers, everyone like the cabins. The dining room food was very good, made better by the exceptional service of our waiter, Eduardo, and his assistant, Abbie (that's what he told us to call him as we had trouble pronouncing his name). The bar waiter, also named Eduardo, in the dining room was excellent, too. Park Café had the usual good sandwiches and salads and the usual terrible pizza. I only ate at Windjammer once, for lunch, and it was good for a buffet. Tables were cleaned and turned over quickly. The shows were just okay, but the live music around the ship was fantastic, especially the group that often played in the Centrum. Coco Cay was nice and not particularly crowded. We chose "walk off" disembarkation and that went smoothly. We were off the ship by 7:45am.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

I was in 7624. It was a good location. Near the Centrum, yet quiet. The cabin was roomy and clean. The stateroom attendant, Maha, was very competent and attentive but not intrusive. The small balcony had two chairs and a table.
