Sail Date: Jun 2016

We have in the past crossed the Atlantic with Cunard and decided to do a med cruise as a first because we liked the itinerary. We Choose P&O Oceana and we where not disappointed, The flights transfers and embarkation were seamless. Although Oceana is an older ship she is in surprisingly good condition apart from some cosmetics which can be easily overlooked. Our cabin was not overly spacious but was more than adequate for us, we had a small balcony with chairs and a small table, the space was comfortable to sit out and watch the world go by. We close freedom dining in the Liguna restaurant which was excellent the quality and presentation of the food was first class. With the exception of one day we had breakfast in the buffet restaurant the selection and quality was very good this restaurant was very busy at certain times but we always managed to find a seat and did'nt have to queue overly long. The entertainment and shows where fist rate, and there was always a venue which showed the euro 2016 football. P&O should be proud of the crew who were always helpful, courtious and professional. The day trips organised by P&O were very good we took the introduction to Rome, Sorento and pompei, Florence and Pisa.
