We enjoyed a great day in Seattle before the cruise including the Boeing Factory Tour, Pikes Place Market and the Space Needle. Uber is a great way to get around town and to the port. The port is chaotic and clearly not equipped to handle the big ships. Allow extra time for transportation, boarding and catching a flight home - and brace yourself for rude port workers. The ship is very nice and clean. The art collection was pretty fabulous. We had a Grand Suite and it was beautiful and spacious, very similar to other RC ships. Access to the Concierge was invaluable for dinner reservations and an early departure so we could catch our flight home. He was great as was our stateroom attendant. The staff in general was really excellent. There was a good mix of passengers on board and we noticed several multi generational family groups. The food in the WJ was typical - just OK and not always hot. The dining room food proved to be much better. Entertainment was good for a ship this size. The pool area is not covered, even in the Solarium. The gym area is small and it was crowded but well equipped. We did not use any of the spa services. Our weather stayed cloudy and cool, mostly in the 50's - 60's during the day with the exception of Victoria which made it to the 70's. We had very little rain and the visibility was very good most of the time.

Juneau: Why even stop there? The town offers so little and doesn't seem to care about tourists. We took the 5 glacier Wings Airways flight and it was excellent but you could easily find a similar excursion at most of the other ports.

Skagway: An interesting, friendly, historic town. We took the Yukon White Pass RR and really loved the experience. Dress warm so you can enjoy it from the outdoor platform!
