We chose HAL as we has never cruised with them before. We thought we would try a different cruise line as we have only ever cruised with Princess. A big mistake! What a disappointment! The zuiderdam is in the worst condition that we have ever experienced.
Our first cabin 6072 had wooden wedges inbetween the wall and the ceiling to try to stop the creaking in the ceiling. To no avail....hence we didn't much sleep. When we complained we were offered ear plugs.
The bathroom had mould in the shower and the shower bath. The balcony had rust everwhere.
