we wanted to cruise on a brand new ship and watched video etc online looked ok. not enough seating at most venues. took lunches away at some specialty restaurants like tamarind. have more pay for gelato ,pay for beer,pay for cokes type places...we booked a deck 6 inside cabin hated when door is opened u face bed and people look right in ugh...if door opened from left that would not happen duh. 1st day sunday tv did not work. a/c did not get cold shower would go from cold to hot by itself. a lot of phone calls to singing filapinos singing clerks took care of all problems but shower, plumber came 3 dyas in a row. a/c man made unit cold loved it after 2nd day! we really missed no library just a few shelves of travel books which couldn't be checked out and small tint tables outside for games for 2 people . you couldn't even do a puzzle on them. we missed not having any reading material to bring back to the cabin or a nook tp read... we didn't even bring any pocket books cause we believed hal would have a library... not good hal....the dining room does not look like a HAL dining room but like a dennys with bright yellow colored walls and strange ball lighting 'pieces' . no wood or dignity at all. ugh.not pretty hal. and please fire the person who ok'd stupid golf ball salt and pepper shakers with 1 tiny hole. we got crazy with them rolling them all over the table.not pretty hal. esp on a table of 8 or 10.waiters don't have busboys anymore since they are all delivering drinks from hal new drink packages so waiters have to bus and deliver courses. but there were at least 6 wine sommeliers and busboys delivering drinks all over each section of dining room with their own $tation$. also seating in music venue like for classical, well we never found seats whole 14 days so only got to hear one performance standing.... as far as lido we hated looking for seats every dang time for breakfast or lunch.. not good hal...we ate outside in the cold cause we wanted to get off ship at ports..the good.. loved the new stage theater with mixed media, cabin had good storage capacity tho closets would be small for longer then 14 dy cruises... we thought the French rest sel mer was crazy $$$$ for a la carte pricing and what u got to eat. several told us they wish they didn't book it cause they missed lobster night in main dining room. while we just ate at the Italian restaurant on lido deck, excellent food. never saw the cd but his staff was friendly and we have sailed with Capt Darren before on eurodam. HE knows about the library and said when king goes to dry dock

[ 2018] they will add a few more shelves[ yeah right] we deided we are in no hurry to go back on this ship but will book on eurodam instead.
