Our college age daughters have always wanted to sail to the Greek Isles. We always sail with Royal Caribbean and that is why we choose this cruise. The itinerary was great. The ship is really nice. Smaller than what we are use to, but we actually enjoy the quaintness of the ship. The only negative would be the food in the main dining room. We felt it wasn't as good as the other larger ships that we have been on. Although the Windjammer food was very good. Good variety. The staff was very helpful, the spa was very nice, the adult solarium was our hang out. The shows were pretty good. The select drink package was very limited. They only had two wines that you could choose from. Getting on and off the ship was very easy. Overall we are always please with the level of service that we receive on Royal Caribbean.

Cabin Review

Cabin 8000
This cabin for our family of 4 was outstanding. There is so much room and 2 bathrooms. Although we usually have a balcony room the trade off for size was worth it. Big picture window. There is a separate bedroom that can sleep 4. We would definitely book this cabin again. FYI: This cabin is on the Suite Level but is not a suite. Make sure you are not charged the daily suite rate. We were and they gave us a refund. Enjoy:)

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

  • Walking Tour
Our tour guide John was excellent. This is an amazing port to visit. They will pick you up right by the Police House less than 5 minute walk from Cruise Ship. The views are spectacular. The old town is amazing. Make sure you asked your guide to give you enough time to eat in Old Town. This tour is great because it was only the 6 of us on the tour. Book with this company....ask for John.

  • Olympia Archeological Tour
tour is very reasonable for a party of 6. Went straight to Olympia and beat the big tour buses. The archaeological site is worth the trip. The museum is filled with so many artifacts from that time period.
We left there and went to a small family owned winery. Amanda gave us a tour of the production area and then we enjoyed tasting several different wines and delicious Greek side dishes. A very nice tour away from the crowds.

  • Ephesus
Ephesus Shuttle Tour was recommended by friends and we are glad they told us about this company. Alex was our tourguide and he was friendly and very knowledgeable about Ephesus. He picked us up as soon as we departed the ship. We were able to beat the crowds at Ephesus. This was one of the highlights of our trips. To think we were on the same streets that the Apostle Paul walked on. Very memorable. We did Tour 4 A1. Lunch and Terrace Houses were included. Don't miss the Terrace Houses. They were well advanced in the technology they were using at that time. We will never forget this area.
Note about lunch: See if you can book in advance to go to the outdoor café next to the Carpet Weaving School. The dining experience was amazing. The scenery is beautiful. Very nicely done. The food is delicious!!!

  • Island Tour
Great Private Tour with Stan. Santorini was breath taking. Our tour lasted 5 hours. Started by taking the cable car up to Fira where we met our guide. Went to Oia first because it gets very crowded. Only spent one hour here. You may want to ask your guide for more time. At least 2 hours. Very nice shops and restaurants and the views are gorgeous. Red beach is very pretty.

  • Venice Walking Tour
Per the advice of friends, we booked our tour with Tourleader. Igor is very easy to work with and provides an excellent walking tour. After the tour it was very easy for us to find our way around Venice. I would highly recommend booking with them. Guides give and excellent overview of Venice and also recommend which restaurants and gelato shops to visit. Enjoy!
