I chose this cruise because it was with my budget and I wanted a special present for my sisters Birthday. Neither of us had been on a cruise before so a short one would let us know if we had sea legs or not. You either hate it or love it, Unfortunately it was not for me. Be aware that if you have any difficulties ie you are in a wheelchair you will not be able to get off the ship unless your destination has a proper docking wharf. The Tender shiips they use are too dangerous and even in normal weather the boats rock so much if your not steady on your feet you may end up in the water. This was not disclosed to me at the onset so I could not disembark. Instead I decided to watch a movie only to be told when sitting in my seat that there had been a mix up and they wanted the theater for a staff meeting so the movie was cancelled. Staff training took precedence over paying customers. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. Basically after 2 days all had been seen on the ship and there was nothing to do but stare at the water and hope some dolphins would show themselves. The entertaining was in my opinion mediocre, NO tea or coffee facilities in the cabins, ok I thought its an old ship and they did not want to spend any money putting in more facilites so I can order one from room service. NOPE no coffee or tea on the menu. this was a baig thing for me as I like a cuppa when I wake up and now had to shower and dress and go down for breakfast before I could have a hot drink. Last day we had to be ready to disembark by 7:30 so it was an early rise and we thought O we will order breakfast to our room so we dont have to rush....Noooo an announcement was made the night before that there would be no room service. Customer Service seemed to go out the window once that had you in board. However the actual Staff could not be more friendly strangely so as if their job depended on it. Well P&O I will not be traveling with you again
