Just brilliant cruise.Chose this cruise for the wonderful itinerary as never been to Scandanavia and Russia before. Very smooth check in at Southampton and with a 3.30 boarding allocated time we chose to look around Southampton first which was wonderful and port had 3 other big ships in including Britannia. Bags were waiting outside cabin and room was inside cabin but just right for us. Lots of storage and space for clothes and kept lovely and clean by steward, Staff throughout the ship were very friendly and soon got to know names ,Never saw or met a grumpy member of staff so well done P and O !! Food was a little bland in the buffet at the beginning of the cruise but certainly improved after a few days. The food in the glass house and sindhu was outstanding and well worth the extra pennies!. Visited both several times..Love the planet room and spent a couple of hours in there after leaving different ports and watching the beautiful scenery from the back of the ship with complimentary snacks ! Most passengers dressed up for the Black Tie nights in fact I have never seen so many tuxedos and bow ties as on this cruise.The shore excursions were very well run and we thought reasonably priced. We only saw a couple of shows and a couple of guest performers and all were enjoyable. Lots of sunbeds for everyone and mostly empty on the 19th deck so could pick and choose on sea days. The ship although has lots of passengers seems to has lots of rooms, lounges and bars etc and good staffing numbers to never have to wait or queue for anything. Roll on the next P and O cruise,!
