We choose the cruise because a couple we knew were going and highly recommended it. We had been threatening to go on a cruise for a long time and decided now was the time. Before we went on the Spirit we read reviews that it was old and a bit tired. We thought it was wonderful. We could not find fault with anything. The cabin we had was perfect. The staff all over the ship were brilliant. The other cruisers were delightful. It was one of the best trips we ever had. We took a tour to Camp New (wrong spelling) and the guide gave us an added tour of Barcelona which was great. We went to the Biozoo at Valencia, it was brilliant but the guide was not the best. This did not take from the trip. The shows on board were brilliant. The food was absolutely gorgeous and most particularly in the dining room. The staff were wonderful.
