As a long time HAL Fan we were looking for a quick respite from our busy life. We were stunned at how far HAL had fallen. Service was slow, error prone and wait times for dining were totally unacceptable. We have invested a lot of time with this cruise line, but our conclusion is that either this ship's crew are an anomaly or the corporate office is making significant cuts.

Never saw the captain once during the cruise. Dining times took so long, it was impossible to see the shows.

Crew seemed harried and unprepared. They lost a bottle of our wine and replaced it with a half used replacement containing less than we had left the night before. Read more
