We believe Holland America line to provide stylish cruising with elegance and sophistication at a reasonable cost. We like the traditional style of ship with spacious accommodation in the public areas and manageable numbers of passengers. The level of service provided but the Philipino crew is very high with great attention to personal comfort and forming a good relationship with the client to understand his needs. We always find the Holland America clientele to be a comfortable match to our expectations. The nature of the onboard activities and entertainment is sophisticated and in no way brash.

Our recent voyage on the Oosterdam had a full passenger payload but because of the nature of the public areas in no way felt crowded.

As British clients we enjoy the very international cross section of English speaking clients but are always rather surprised that the percentage of British clients is relatively small. We feel sure that more active marketing in the UK would create greater interest in Holland America in the UK.
