The cruise worked out a lot cheaper than a competitor - whilst on it, we found out why. Having been on a cruise before we were really impressed with the dinner and the shows. On this cruise the big production shows were not included, and were an extra charge.

Being vegetarian, the food was a big let down. Over 25 restaurants and besides the buffet restaurant none of them really catered for vegetarian. We even went up to the concierge early on in the trip to ask what restaurants they would recommend for vegetarians. He answered - only the Garden Cafe (main buffet restaurant). It was entirely true. The other restaurants had 0 to 1 vegetarian items. So many restaurants and none catering for vegetarians. Was shocked.

The Garden Cafe - whilst catering for vegetarians was not great. Examples - Mexican night - lots of different burrito wraps available - none vegetarian. We asked them if they can make a vegetarian wrap - answer was a very short 'No'. Every day a variety of meat pizzas, and for vegetarians only margarita. We asked one day if they can make us a pizza with mixed vegetables, at the start they said no, but reluctantly they gave us one after we argued for 10 minutes. We did not bother again.

Cabin Review

Family Mini-Suite with Balcony

The cabin was was very narrow. Didn't feel the space was used very well.

Was very clean, and balcony was nice.
