We had a great time on our cruise, but a few things worth mentioning that maybe others' may want to know before choosing Celebrity. The biggest thing was the food. It was presented beautifully, but it just didn't taste good. We really wanted to like the food, but day after day, it was another night of "what are we eating"? The food was bland, mushy and tasted like it was prepared a long time ago and was sitting out. The ice cream and sorbet was always melted. Our dinner waiter was good, but not like years ago when they really went out of their way to serve you. Breakfast each morning was always bad service. They were friendly, but slow and apathetic. Maybe because now the tips are automatically put on your cruise tab. Another complaint that we heard all around the ship is WHY OH WHY DID WE STOP IN TOBAGO!!! There is nothing to do on this island and they even warned us before leaving the ship to not wear any jewelry (theft). Also, not the most important, but it didn't have a fun atmosphere. There was no energy. The crew was polite, but there was something missing. It just looked to me like the crew was bored with their jobs and were just going through the motions. I think next time we will try a different cruise line. This was our second Celebrity cruise and we don't think we will cruise with them again. The positives: Awesome family suite facing the back of the boat (9199). Very good room stewart.

Not as we expected

Cabin Review

Family Ocean View with Balcony
Cabin FV 9199
We fit a family of five very comfortably. Lots of room to stretch out. Balcony is HUGE. Lots of closet and drawer space. The room was the best part of the cruise!
