We cruised with four other couples. We have traditionally cruised on large cruise ships. This experience was so positive (despite a terrible drought on the Danube, which required switching ships half way and taking a bus to our next port due to very low water levels) that I doubt we will ever cruise on the large ships again. The personal attention, the laid back atmosphere, the sights so close to the ship, the free excursions, etc, etc. The entire experience was positive and made us want to do this again soon. Food was excellent with many choices each evening and wine and beer are included with the meals. The breakfasts had so many offerings and lunches were delicious. The cabin was lovely. The excursions was historically centered and such a delight. There was nothing the staff wouldn't or couldn't do for you. Was very personal. We saw and did so much it felt like we were gone for 3 weeks.
