Cabin: Concierge Class 3

My late partner and I had Alaska on our "bucket list" so off we went in August of last year. Boarding the ship in Vancouver was a dream; no problems at all. When we got to our state room (Concierge Class) there were fresh flowers and fruits. Every day new flowers were brought to the room, as well as appetizers late each afternoon, along with several adult beverages. The stateroom was lovely with ample space for two people coupled with a view from our balcony.

One stop, Sitka, and we were on this small tour boat where we saw 50 humpback whales. When we got to Skagway, it was warm enough for shorts and flip flops, we took a train from there to the US/British Columbia border on the White Pass and Yukon Route which, even in some fog, was an experience not to be missed.

The ship had an ice bar where we spent most evenings getting to know the bar tenders and other individuals we met. All I can say about this was pure fun.
