It had been many years since we sailed HAL and we decided to go back on what was the new Westerdam. Embarkation was simple. We had a signature suite which we were to.d that we would receive early embarkation....did not happen, but we still had fast service. The ship was lovely although getting somewhat worn. Our suite was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a separate bath and shower. Although the veranda was a good size, the chairs were missing and mismatched.

The food in the main dining room was hit and miss. Very often almost cold when served. We dined at least twice in Canelloto restaurant, where the quality of food was better than the main dining room.

The Pinnicle Grill was very good and compared to the restaurants on Celebrity, a good value. Read more
