We went out of Port Canaveral on a 4 day to Nassau and Freeport on the Carnival Victory. We really like this port because it is easy to get to since we drive from North Georgia and the port itself is easy to navigate. We stay the night in one of the hotels along I95 in Titusville and they have coupons for parking at the port - nice.

The Victory is a medium sized ship with a lot of balconies. It is pretty standard Carnival, which we like. All of the crew was very nice, and the cruise director seemed to be on top of things all of the time. We had someone take ill about an hour out of Nassau, so we had to turn around and take them back so they could be seen at a hospital. Not sure what happened, but the cruise director sounded shaken when he came on for the announcement....hope the person is okay. Nassau is Nassau, if you've been there more than a couple of times. They are re-doing that big barn like structure that you have to go through in order to get outside....looks like it will be nice.

We had never been to Freeport before, and if we dont go again, that will be fine. It is a very industrial looking port, not pretty at all. There is a nice little shopping area right at the dock, and we didnt take an excursions, so cant say much about it. The port has a lot of container ships there and we saw some others in dry-dock which was kinda cool.

Balcony

Standard Carnival Cabin.

Port Reviews

Freeport

The port is quite ugly and industrial

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Port Canaveral is really growing. It has always been easy to navigate there. Hope it will continue to be so.

Nassau

We just did a little shopping in town. Standard stuff.
