I don't know how anyone could give this cruise a bad review. Yes, be prepared to spend some money, but it's a once in a lifetime trip (may be twice). We were on our honeymoon (2nd marriage at 53). We were in cabin 9094 (mid ship balcony). We heard no outside noise and the location was perfect. They cleaned our room twice a day and there were always plenty of towels. The food was excellent (and we never ate in the pay restaurants- always the free dining rooms and buffet areas), the entertainment was good, the excursions were all great too. Yes, they are really expensive and you can probably book them on your own cheaper. If you try to penny pinch too much.. you'll miss out on a lot of fun. The worst thing I can say is that I think we missed out on a lot of good eating and fun on the ship because we were off the boat all day on excursions. We only ate lunch once on the ship and that was a barbecue at the pool friday. (Ribs, burgers, hot dogs yum!).

Food items to remember:

We got popcorn in the saloon and or ice cream every night before the show and brought it into the show to enjoy. (FYI-The theater is always freezing cold so bring a blanket from your room). In the main dining rooms the Snicker doodle strawberry cake and the brownie/lava cake are delicious. In the evening they also make crepes that are good. The gentleman that makes them is quite stern. We called him the crepe nazi. :) Breakfast was wonderful. So many choices and lot's of delicious fruits. Everything was good. I never had a bad food item. We aren't drinkers, but the fruity one's looked good. We also aren't pop drinkers so we had no expenses on our bill when we disembarked. (we ordered and paid for the excursions before the trip).

Mid-Ship Balcony

Excellent location. Of course it's small, but it had everything we needed. The balcony was great for drying bathing suits or enjoying the views.
