I have sailed many times and most have been good. This by far was one of the worst. I will never sail Carnival again. The food was terrible in some cases inedible. The buffet area very unclean. The cabin was hot. We complained (we had 3 cabins and all were hot) and they sent maintenance with his thermometer. Carnival keeps their cabins between 70-74 degrees. Our cabin registered at 73.1 when he read it. The temp would exceed that most of the day. At one point the a/c did not come on for hours. Our steward was unavailable most of the time. Carnival has no refrigerators in their cabins. We purchased waters from carnival to drink while in the cabin. Their was no way to keep cold except a small ice bucket. It was very difficult to get ice. It had to be ordered from room service and they would take up to an hour on a good day. The early show on the last night was cancelled. We were late diners so that was our show. Because the dining room was very slow that night we missed the show. Not enough activities on the boat unless you loved trivia. We had 9 people in out party. The best thing about this cruise was the camp. My 6 year old niece loved it. Guest services was of no help to us.
