We had a fantastic time aboard Rhapsody of the Seas!! Embarking from Barcelona, Spain, with ports in Ajaccio, Corsica, Napoli, Sicily (Messina), Valletta, Malta, Montenegro (Kotor), Ravenna and last but not least...Venice!! Everyone provided us with the utmost convenience and accommodation. This, our first trip out of the United States (and first cruise!) proved to be as much as we envisioned and hoped it would be. Other than the long flight getting to Barcelona (9 hours), it was a vacation I would look forward to taking again and again. Europe is breathtaking. The cruise ship staff were outstanding, gracious, friendly, professional, and top-notch. To our amazement, our cabin was cleaned and tidied up twice a day. The main dining room staff were impeccable as were the bar staff, always friendly and accommodating. The ship experienced some very rough seas our first night but all-in-all the cruise was smooth sailing! Getting to and from different locations on the ship was easy with the touch-screen maps adjacent to each elevator which also listed activities/entertainment for the day, location and mapping - good for us since we got lost..a lot! The shore excursions and getting reservations for these all went very well. The trips we took were fabulous. There was very little waiting getting off and back on the ship. It all went very smoothly. Our only complaint would be not being able to stay longer!! We would definitely recommend cruising Royal Caribbean - Rhapsody of the Seas. Can't wait to go again.
Cabin was small but met all of our needs - clean and very quiet as well. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and modern. The flat screen tv was a plus as it offered a live-cam of the ship and a channel of events and excursions. Just perfect in my opinion.
Nice!!!
