We chose this cruise for the itinerary and the fact that we had enjoyed our last two Celebrity cruises. Transport to the ship from the airport was o.k., although the 20 minute break at a service station within sight of the ship seemed a little odd. Embarkation was quick and efficient and we were on board by 1pm.
We mostly ate Dinner in the Opus dinning room. The quality of food was mostly very good, although I found the desserts a little disappointing. Waiter service was excellent but the tables for two were just too close to each other for any private conversation.
Breakfast venue varied: room service breakfast was delivered promptly to the Cabin (Sometimes too promptly, before the requested time!) Although choice was limited, the food was o.k. and breakfast on the balcony in the sunshine was a fine way to start the day. The Ocean view cafe provided a huge choice of breakfasts and we enjoyed the food and the uncrowded service area but found that the seating arrangements a little cramped and lacking in privacy. Breakfast service in the Opus was outstanding.
Great cabin, which was well maintained by our excellent steward. Nice bathroom with superb shower and ergonomic night light. Reasonable storage space but maybe needs a few more drawers. Cabin has partially restricted view which wasn't a problem for us: you can see over the lifeboat without any problem, however there was a fair bit of outside noise from the open deck below, some of it in the very early morning as the staff went about their business.
