We wanted to see new zealand and stay in sydney. nz cruise surpassed our expectations. we loved eating a formal breakfast most days and meeting funny people. our room was very comfortable and the staff was most helpful. the ship entertainment was quite good! We loved even the wild and wooly weather crossing the tasmanian sea. we did our own thing in most stops, but did partake of the overnight excursion celebrity offered from dunedin to queenstown to milford sound and it was fabulous, worth every dollar. two fun-filled and packed days off the ship were costly for sure but really enriched our understanding of new zealand and we thank celebrity for offering such an excursion...top accommodations, great experiences including a bbq after an old steamer boat ride, rain forest, winery, soaring views...simply great. we are amateur photographers and the sights all over were inspiring. sydney as a destination was wonderful, just wonderful.
Very comfortable. sorry cannot recall room number but it was on one of those humps and had a great balcony, great even though our neighbor's underwear blew onto our balcony! steward took discreet care of the issue!
We did wellington ourselves. great museums, people, sights. Easy to do on your own.
We did this ourselves with walking and hopon/hopoff. just wait til later in the day to try to get on the bus! in the meantime great shopping, museums, old bar in town...lovely.
We did this ourselves with a taxi driver who took us to the stupendous waterfall which was not stupendous but most other sights were. local taxi.
We arrived only just in time to board the ship which was effortless.
