A unique great adventure of the Great Lakes. The port excursions were varied with a new location and experience every day. The food choices were excellent, delicious, and served by the most cherry and well trained staff. The Pear Mist has many varied public areas; sun and shade comfy top deck, nice library room with jig saw rainy day puzzles, and three lounge areas. The cabins are very large with private balcony; they are well maintained, comfortable, and clean.

We embarked in Toronto, we were met at our hotel and transported to the ship. Our room was ready and luggage delivered almost immediately. From the first moment we felt welcomed. All crew members genuinely friendly.

Ports of call include Canadian side of Niagara Falls, Henry Ford Museum, charming small ports in the Georgian Bay area, Mackinac Island, and ending with a tour of Chicago.

Cabin Review

Cabin Upper

Very comfortable cabin. Plenty of space, private balcony with sliding glass door. Room has closet as well as plenty of drawer storage. Small tv with excellent satellite reception. Bathroom very adequate compared to other ships I have traveled. Excellent amenities and cabin service the best I have ever had on a cruise, really!
