As this was my 8th cruise with Carnival. My 3rd on the Glory, 2 disappointing cruises in a row. The last one was 2014, where we sailed to Aruba and Curacao. Both islands had their labor day which meant both islands were completely closed for bars, restaurants, shops etc... (all they had to do is flip flop the days we were at the islands). This time, the boat smelled horrible! Nauseating! We docked into Miami 8 hours early, which meant on the cheers program we were now being charged taxes on each drink including soda and water. This also meant the casino and other shops were closed early. The smell was so horrific we both awoke from our sleep at 4am to run out to the balcony for fresh air. The food and bartenders were great as always. The band doesn't come out onto the Lido deck until half way through the day. It seems as though they are skimping on fun day at sea entertainment lately.
