It was our silver anniversary, have been to Norway before but still amazed us with its scenery and waterfalls .First time for my wife on p&o, my second, Cabin was very good, situated on c deck near lifts, got lost several times early on, think they could have put deck plans in the lifts.Have done several cruises with Thomsons, so had to compare to them, Entertainment in theatre was good, headliners put on good shows, guest artists also, witnessed accident in there, some chap fell down stairs, the attention he got was excellent, 2 nurses there inside 5 minutes, and emergency tannoy was done then and upto 15 staff attended in another 5 minutes. Thanks to this swift attention he fully recovered by next nght. Food, the choice of English fare at lunch time in the buffet was poor, breakfast was good, in the Meridian there was a lot of repetition, though it was nicely cooked and large portions. The grill was brilliant, 3 lovely courses, well presented although it took over 2 hours to get through it.Staff were friendly and attentive. Lastly the weather was very good, got very hot on a couple of days.
cabin was a disabled one, wider doors, ramps in and out to balcony, wet room, electric curtains, spy hole at wheelchair level in door. smart tv, tea making.
