Cabin: Aquatheater Suite with Balcony

We had a very nice time on the Allure of the Seas. We stayed in the one bedroom AquaSuite on the 14th floor (14330). We have never stayed in a suite before and it was just the right size for us and having two balconies was great! It wasn't too noisy and we felt it was very private. We dined in the Coastal Kitchen the first night because they had put us on My Time Dining even though we had scheduled a 6:00 main dining time. It was nice and the food tasted delicious but we preferred the atmosphere and consistancy of the main dining room better. They fixed it for us and we were in the main dining room for the rest of the trip. I enjoyed every meal although for the first couple of days everything was a bit salty. The entertainment and activities were top notch. There wasn't one show I didn't enjoy. The service everywhere was remarkable. We only did a couple of excursions but they were nice.

Aquatheater Suite with Balcony

Cabin A4

We've never stayed in a suite before. Those that have may find this suite rather small, but for my husband and myself it was the perfect size. Very private. It has 2 balconies. The view of the aquatheater is ok. We found we got a full view if we stood at the railing or sat on the ottoman and looked through the glass but only got a partial view in the chairs. We people talked through a microphone it was tough to understand everything they said. One of the flowrider was above us and we couldn't decide if it was it or the air conditioner we always heard but either way it wasn't a terrible noise and didn't bother us. No footsteps or furniture moving above us was a plus! Loved having all the sky class suite perks such as the free wi fi and luggage valet.

Port Reviews

San Juan

We took the trolley around the town (twice in fact). We stopped at the Castillo de San Cristobal and el Morro and wanted to see the San Juan Bautista Cathedral but didn't know how to get to the Cathedral from the trolley stops (hench the two trips around). We eventually took a cab to the cathedral. We didn't have very long at this port but we didn't mind because we saw all we wanted to see and it was extremely hot that day.
