Leaving Mykonos, enjoying cocktails and the sunset.
Good morning Ephesus, Turkey. Very interesting place.

Having never been to Venice, Greece or Turkey and celebrating our 32 anniversary, this itinerary looked great and the price was right. Thank goodness I booked expensive flight through RC. For some reason our reservations gave us 55 min. to connect with flight from MIA in Madrid with flight to Venice. We missed the flight and interesting airline information states it takes 65 minutes to make this connection! Since this was the first time this had ever happen to us, I looked at my paperwork for emergency travel team. The two numbers were an 800 and a 305 number. Neither work in Madrid. With the help of a local we contacted a travel agent who gave us international number. We made next flight but ship had sailed. After a few more screw ups and a 5 hour bus ride we met the ship at Katakolon, Greece to begin our 9 day cruise!

Ship was great, staff very friendly, ports and water beautiful. Weather was perfect. Food and buffet was so so compared to other cruise lines. Missed excursion to Olympia but everywhere else was great. Given a credit of 20% of cost toward another cruise. Doesn't sound so great now. Stayed in Venice on the ship and nobody mentioned people mover shuts down and you need to take a taxi after 11. Everyone needed to off by 9:30 am the next day. We stayed two extra days and they had a luggage service (nobody mentioned) that took your luggage to area hotels. We would go again but probably make our own flight reservations or look a little closer. Upset no international help number on any of my paperwork!

Cabin D2

nice, large lots of room nice view. had to walk a little but easy to go up or down without using elevator since ship is rather small. Since water was calm, no problem being in back.
