This cruise was a good cruise for a short cruise with only 2 port stops; Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman . This ships was good but perhaps because it is small, it did not offer the best fun experience. There was not enough service to keep the common areas clean; hallways were cluttered, tables were left littered with debris and old food every afternoon. Limited service in the Lido deck especially around 5:30. Pools and hot tubs were too crowded as not enough pool/hot tub space for the people who were wanting to stand in them. Yes, people stood in the pools every day as the pools were so crowded!
No poolside entertainment at night, a missed opportunity in my opinion as there wasn't enough to do at night as entertainment was limited to kareoke and mediocre comedians most of the time. They had a Quest night and Love and Marriage show on the same night, near the end of the week. Nothing much in between outside of the usual lip syncing entertainers . Kareoke was really good but not enough for a whole week.
Food was ok in the grill, mediocre to terrible in the dining rooms. Coffee was mediocre and you never knew when it would be good or too weak. Drinks were all good.
Cabin was good except no fridge. Cabin staff were great. We didn't ask for much but we got ice every day after asking for it on the first day. Good size balcony; room for 4 chairs and table with space in between. Room was small but ok; no couch. Great rear view, unobstructed.
Beautiful port ; very clean and no beggars . We took an Island Tour for $20. We had a good guide for a brief visit .
Miami near the Bayshore Market is cool although we didn't see much due to limited time . Bayshore Market is a great destination . Watch out for people begging for money during dinner as most dining areas are open to a common walkway. Lovely spot to check out food, souvenirs and some entertainment. We walked around this area for a few hours and enjoyed the view, the yachts, and the ambience.
