Cabin: Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

This is a beautiful ship. Our mini-suite with balcony was perfect. Unfortunately the service on Norwegian was not as good as I have experienced on Carnival or Royal Caribbean. The ANYTIME dining option is disappointing because you never have the same waiter twice (we tried). We only received good table service a few times. The shows are difficult to attend. Most require extra charges or making reservations on the first day (we didn't know how important it was to reserve everything early). We were only able to attend "The Million Dollar Quartet" which was excellent. We saw our room steward ONCE the entire week. Again, disappointing.

The food quality was average. We had food delivered to the table cold or under-cooked. There are extra charges for several entrees including lobster. I will say that the adult-only area (Spice h2O) during the day was the only quiet spot we could find to lay in the sun. This ship definitely caters to the party-crowd. The ropes course at the top of the ship was thrilling. It's a lot more difficult than it looks. For an all-inclusive vacation, we felt like we were being nickled & dimed to death.

The ports were amazing, though. We did scuba diving with West End Divers in Roatan, Honduras; cave tubing with Butts Up in Beize; jet skiing at Krazy Lobster in Costa Maya; and snorkeling at Chankanaab in Cozumel. Overall, it was a good vacation, but we're going back to Carnival for the service.

Excellent cabin! Large bathroom with a huge shower. The bed was very comfortable.
