We did consecutive cruises on the Star. First 7 day to Norway May 17 then 9 day to Baltic May 24.

Was pleasantly surprised. Food was decent but buffet noise level was deafening and it was often very crowded so didn't eat here often. The food was pretty decent and service in Versailles was good and in Moderno was excellent.

The ship seemed in excellent condition and very clean. The staff in the buffet area clear used items quickly and are very efficient.

Cabin SJ

This is a lovely large room with floor to ceiling windows - was a treat to stay here with only 2 people

Port Reviews

Geiranger

We took a private excursion on a boat up the fjord.

Bergen

Our only rainy day so we took the hop on/off. If not for the rain this is very walkable and pretty

Alesund

Climbed the 418 steps up Mt Aksla for incredible views of the city

Flam

We did the Flam railway on our own for half the price of cruise ship excursion. Really great trip.
