Eclipse Baltic cruise May 2016.

Just back from this amazing cruise, albeit marred somewhat by the Norovirus outbreak, which thankfully did not affect us. A great itinerary took us to some wonderful places, with the highlight being St Petersburg. After a cloudy start for the first couple of days, the weather got better and better and the seas were really calm throughout.

Embarkation was through Ocean terminal, so not quite as smooth as City terminal, which we have previously used. We were still on board in good time for lunch.

Cabin Review

AquaClass 1

Well situated on deck 11 midships. The overhang might be a problem if you want to sunbathe. Some slight noise in the evening when the sun loungers were being put away but not a great problem.

Port Reviews

St. Petersburg

Took a 2 day tour with SPB Tours who were excellent. Well informed guide and friendly, helpful driver. Very tiring, but well worth it. Waited about 20 minutes at Russian immigration on day 1 - no queues on day 2.
