Sail Date: May 2016
Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony

We choose this cruise as it is port intensive and after 9 cruises with several lines, Princess was an obvious choice. Rather than ramble on and on about how the cruise affected us personally I thought it better to provide useful information for future cruise guests considering this Cruise Line and itinerary.

Pre-Cruise:

We booked a two night stay prior to sailing at the Crowne Plaza, Copenhagen. This hotel proved to be an excellent choice based on price point, easy access to the city centre and airport. The Crowne Plaza is newer hotel located 10 minutes from the airport with direct train access to the city centre just steps away. Taxi fare to the cruise port (there are more than one) will range about $400K. There is also public transportation much cheaper. TIP: if you stay at this hotel, visit Fields Shopping Mall, Scandinavia's largest mall is next door.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MF

The Mini-Suite on the Regal Princess is a bit smaller than other ships we have sailed on. It has a king bed which is very comfortable, choice or hard or soft pillows, full couch in the sitting area with large desk and chair. There is a small fridge under the desk and two 110V outlets, plenty of mirrors and loads of storage space. The bathroom has a 3/4 size tub and shower, large vanity and plenty of lights. There is a full closet, room safe and cabinet. The deck is on the narrow side with two reclining chairs and a table. The room has two large LED TV's and can be divided with a curtain. We choose forward on Lido deck (16) which is steps from the pool and Horizon Court and the big plus is the elevators and stairs.

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

Used public transportation to the City Centre and took harbour cruise, well worth it. Also went to Tivoli Gardens, a must see and the Carlsburg Brewery tour. Copenhagen is a beautiful city and easy to walk around.
