This is a great cruise.... Even in late May, we got lucky with some nice weather however had one rain day in Halifax, but made it part of the adventure. The crew and ship are fantastic and we really like the mid size ships over these newer monster ships. We had a vista cabin aft on the ship on deck 10 port side aft. This cabin 082 is awesome, with an extra large deck and totally private. There was no exhaust smell at all and we left the curtain open the whole cruise as well as the door most of the time. The condition of the ship is good, it is well kept and clean. As a smaller ship, you do feel the rough seas, however we found it kinda soothing and again part of the adventure.

The food is good, and there is a wide variety, and the alcohol cost really are not too bad as compared to any big city prices. The staff really makes the trip that much more enjoyable, so friendly and helpful and they really make you feel very welcome. Back to the cruise destinations, we chose this itinerary specifically for the ports of call. They are not the typical places you would visit on your own, places like Sydney NS.... It is a very small town, however we decided to tour on our own... We found walking around the town brief but ran into a local lady to pointed us to a new park they had built on an old steel mill site. That was a great hike out to the bay, and made the day in port worth it.

Again this typically would not be a town we would visit on vacation but it really gave us a great perspective on a typical maritime town in Canada. The other ports all we're really great as well, hands down Quebec City was amazing... Suggestion take the town on your own and explore at your own pace...well worth it. We did not do any of the ships excursions and planned our own days in each port. Not that there was anything wrong with the ship excursions, we just did not want a bus ride and tour guide experience this time. Overall, great time and worth the money!
