Only really ideal for families; lacks sophistication in many ways.

Our first Cruise was on the NCL Jade a year ago. We loved it so much we wanted to repeat the experience. We found an exciting cruise starting from New York which meant we could have a 3 night stop in the city first then on to Bermuda. We chose the NCL Breakaway.

We found the ship had a disjointed layout that was very confusing.

The pool is way too small for the numbers of travellers. There are huge water slides and plenty for children but not so good for couples compared with the Jade.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B1

Excellent cabin which felt extremely spacious. The cabin attendant was very good, although with the materials used to construct the fittings you can not get rid of finger prints from other users. The Bed was huge and very comfortable. The ensuite shower was very well planned and spacious so 5/5
