We just got back from the May 26 Danube Delights cruise on the Emerald Sun, from Budapest to Nuremburg -- or almost to Nuremburg. Here are a few comments.
1. Overall, the cruise was very, very good.
2. The Emerald Sun is a very nice state-of-the-river-cruising-art ship, only one year old, with lovely, well-designed common areas and comfortable cabins. Of course the cabins aren't large but are well laid out, with plenty of storage space. The small but adequate bathroom space is utilized efficiently, and the shower water pressure and temperature (one of my pet peeves) were quite good. The "indoor balcony" with the window that comes half-way down is a clever idea. The coffee/cappucino/latte/etc. machine in the Horizons Lounge was a big hit. The pool/movie theater did not seem to be highly utilized during our cruise.
