I choose because it has the ports in North Europe I wanted to go and heard that Princess has the best food of all cruise lines. Disappointed. The food in the 16 deck buffet is not good, almost same food every day. Hardly any cold cut, they serve funny food like liver in the morning, fried rice etc. They use plastic cup and I am not sure it is the cup or the tea, it is the only ship out of 6 I have been on that the tea taste funny. Oatmeal and congee is cooked so thick you have to dilute it yourself, but for whatever reason the congee also taste funny. The food in the dining room is of high quality, we have prime rib, filet migon, beef tenderloin, beef wellington, the beef is excellent, but not cook right. Veal scallopini marsala is so different from what I had in Toronto before you wonder. Hard any good entertainment compare to RCI and Celebrity. The Theater stage is smaller than most RCI and Celebrity newer ships. Only 1 extra pay specialty restaurant, they have a Italian restaurant that serve same pizza and 2 pasta dishes (1 veg.) all the time.
Excursions are all very expensive, I not sure if it is northern Europe or the ship.
Only 2 waiters introduce themselves before dinner and serve with a smile. Others look like they are over worked.
