Overall great cruise. We went at the end of May and the weather was perfect -- hot during the day, sunny, and pleasant at night. Food is fantastic on the Sirena and there's a good choice of on-board restaurants and dining venues. Highly recommend both Tuscan Steak and Red Ginger especially. Jacques Bistro for lunch was very nice too. Drinks are expensive but there are 2/1 priced happy hours daily and one reception with an open bar. Drink package only covers lunch and dinner... Nighttime entertainment was good and got better as we went along, but I still don't think it compares with larger ships. Dancing at night was encouraged, but never seemed to get much interest in the Horizons lounge. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

We met really nice people, and there are advantages/disadvantages with open seating. You don't get to know your waitstaff as well as with same table seating. We got to meet lots of nice people, so if you don't hit it off with those at your table one night, you'll meet more the next night.

We met people mainly at dinner and sometimes on excursions. Most passengers were friendly and nice, but they are on average an older age clientele. We did have 2 honeymooning couples, so there are younger people on board, but the entertainment isn't suited to them.

Deluxe Ocean View

Cabin C1

This room is just as described on the website: https://www.oceaniacruises.com/ships/regatta/suites-staterooms/deluxe-ocean-view-stateroom/

It's a nice room, but I just wanted to let folks know it is immediately across the hall from the staff door so it's a little busy and noisy as they come and go through that door. It's quiet at night, but in the morning it starts around 7am -- you'll hear the door closing often. It's also a little noisy with the anchor and engines, etc. but that didn't seem to bother us much. We weren't in the room all that often.
