My son wanted to go to Atlantis, after doing a price out, it was cheaper to go on a 3-day quickie cruise and get a day pass at Atlantis. We flew to FLL and spent the night. I used SAS transportation to get to the cruise port. They were great, but I later found out my hotel would have taken us for 1/4 of the price. Not sure how I missed that, that was on me. Embarkation was easy. We walked in, walked right up to a counter, waited about 45 minutes (we had early check in), and walked right on the ship at about noon. It was so easy it didn't feel right.

Right away it was obvious this was an older ship. From the outside to the inside. The decor, and rust on the outside windows wasn't overly bothersome for me. What really showed was the size of the ship in comparison to some others I have been on. The ship was full, and in the restaurant (buffet) area it really showed. Not as many icecream stations, so always a line or icecream out of service, pretty significant lines at the buffet compared to other ships. Not really a complaint, I had nowhere to go, it is just noticeably different for a smaller ship how many people are on the ship. That being said I never had a problem finding a place to sit and eventually got an icecream cone. The cruise itself didn't seem to have as many activities, but there was the day we left, a day at Nassau and a Sea Day, so that is to be expected.

Not sure how to put this and not get jumped on, but for the first time on a cruise I felt like the people on the cruise were different. Not sure if it was because of where it was out of or because it was a 3-day, but I saw some things that just bothered me. The lady who came to the dining room in her nightgown, it was clearly a nightgown. The grown man who was at the buffet with no shirt, the mostly grown kids just cutting in line. I just felt like this cruise had more disrespectful people than I have ever seen before. Not just isolated incidents, but the major vibe. :(

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6E

Nice to have an ocean view, but I found I was really only in the cabin a short time. I felt like the room was slightly bigger with more space to move around than an inside cabin.
