Sail Date: May 2016

My wife and I took a 7-night Great Barrier Reef cruise on Coral Expeditions II from 27 May to 3 June 2016. We have cruised on large and small ships in the past, and we are both of the opinion that the Coral Expeditions II cruise was the best cruise we have been on.

The cabins are very comfortable, and the bathrooms are the most spacious we have ever encountered on a cruise ship. The ship has excellent dining and lounge areas, and the sun deck has both an open and covered area.

The beauty of the ship is that it is able to get very close to the reef, and it is fitted with a moving platform on the stern that means passengers who want to snorkel or dive can get into the water from the platform and you are only a matter of metres from the coral.
