I have been cruising for many years and often on Carnival. They have the best rates by far, and until this cruise I have always been happy with the food. I was disappointed that quality steaks and lobster were additional charges, in past at least one night these were on the menu. On two different nights I had to send my food back, once it was overcooked and the other the flavor was just bad. The first night I ordered the only steak without an up charge the portion was god but it was not cooked to order though I did not send it back.

I was disappointed in the dinner scheduling, they now do this song and dance thing with the waiters and it is cute but it slows service and I never was able to finish dinner and make it to the 9:30 stage show. Late seating opens at 8:15 if it had started at 8 pm or they cut out the wait staff dancing it would have been possible.

The staffing on board has appeared to have decreased, breakfast on Lido deck they had very few people picking up trays making it hard to find a clean table. Also in the past every time you turned on deck someone was touching up paint or changing light bulbs, didn't see any of that and the rust spots were visible everywhere.

Balcony

Cabin 8F

We had a balcony beds pushed together leaving room for a full size couch and small table. It's a cruise ship so certainly not big but larger than the interior our kids stayed in. I enjoy being able to sit in quite at times and just relax especially with all the Carnival ship activities.
