Overall the ship itself is fine. The amenities are plentiful. The room is adequate (not large but not terribly small either). Here's a breakdown of each item:
Itinerary - Excellent ports of call. They were all about the same, though. It would have been nice to mix it up a bit, by throwing in a port with a nice beach. Instead all of these ports were more of the same with old city, nice cathedrals and castles. After a while, we got tired of more of the same. However, all of the ports are really great to see. Just be sure to bring good walking shoes, as you will be walking quite a bit.
Food - The sit down food was good, not excellent, but good. The service there was also just good. I always felt that the servers there were controlled by a manager with an iron fist, so they didn't seem comfortable engaging with the guests. We've been on a number of cruises before and we would always enjoy either a cup of coffee or cappuccino with our dessert at the end of the meal. Unfortunately, on this cruise they wouldn't even allow coffee or tea. That was so disappointing. If we wanted coffee, we had to go the buffet afterwards.
Cabin was comfortable for the most part. We were never able to get ice in the cabin even though we would request it, but I really can't complain much about the cabin. It's in line with other cruise ship sizes.
Too crowded but much history.
Simple port with many churches and old buildings. Although, they have their own language, they also speak English due to British rule at one point.
Great for shopping and just walking around.
Also great for shopping.
Probably the nicest of the Italian ports. The people there were friendlier than the others. Much of the same history with churches and older structures.
