We've cruised RCI 4 times to Alaska. 2 on the Rhadsody of the Seas and 1 on the Jewel of the Seas. The Explorer was the worst ship we've cruised on. The food in the Windjammer was atrocious at every meal! Everything that was supposed to be hot was cold. The desserts looked like they would be delicious but actually had no taste. I really can't stress enough how BAD the food was. The service was mediocre and lazy at the worst. The Solarium, which is where we send most of our time whale watching (after all it is a cruise to Alaska) had NO roof and was empty. On our other 3 Alaska cruises on RCI, the solarium was packed. The place was full of whale watchers. The activities were geared to the the warm climates, such as the Flowrider, Rock Climbing, mini golf.

The windows were filthy. They didn't stress using the hand sanitizer like on the other cruises. No wonder they have the norovirus.

To me it looks like they don't care, just take our money and provide as little as possible.
