This was my first time cruising, so maybe I'm biased because I have nothing to compare it to. However, this was the best vacation I've ever been on! It is constant fun (hence why Carnival calls it your "fun cruise"). I was concerned when my boyfriend booked this for us. I thought the ship looked tacky and the pools small. I also felt Carnival didn't do a good job of providing details about how to cruise, in a sense.

I was blown away though. The decor really isn't bad, and there is plenty of room at the pools regardless of their small size. The only thing we struggled with was finding shade at peak hours, which isn't a problem for people who love the sun. We really didn't spend a lot of time at the pools, as we got off at every stop and there was always so much else to do when you got back on the ship besides swimming. I should also add that it doesn't take too long to find your way around, and there are maps of the ship by every elevator to help you navigate.

We had an inside cabin. It was small, but for two people it was fine. We really didn't spend a lot of time in there. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Housekeeping came in twice a day, always providing fresh towels for both the shower and beach/pool. They leave the cutest towel animals! Also, they leave an itinerary for the next day, so you know what time everything is going on and when everything will be open! The room was clean, as was the bathroom. The toilets are a little strange, but nothing to gripe about.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

We didn't do anything at this port, however Embarkation was very simple and quick. They let us on earlier than we expected them to and we were able to hang out on the ship until embarkation.
