Cruise Log
Sunday, May 8 Embarkations
We got there at 1130 ish. The porter took our luggage but the rest of the check-in took awhile. We finally boarded around 2:15 with only about 200-300 boarders left in line behind us. The room was already and one of our 6 luggages was already outside our room. We had four adults in one room containing four single beds, one of which had to be made up, as it needed to be dropped from the ceiling. The staff preps the beds early evening and puts it all back by midday while your out and about the ship. We unpacked using every space we could find including the shelves and cabinets in the bathroom. We also bought some magnetic hangers since most of the wall contains steel behind them. There are only two pairs of electrical outlets, one of which is English. I had brought with me a small multi-outlet and British to American electrical adapters. Note, you will need the English adaptor with the ground included. Thus, the English adaptor has a total of three prongs, two of which are identical. There is another English electrical outlet in the bathroom near the ceiling. The rooms come with many options of lights off the wall and near ceiling. However, you will need to place your room card key into the wall slot as you enter the room to turn on any electricity in your room, including the refrigerator.
