Sail Date: May 2016
Cabin: Sky Suite 1

We've sailed on Celebrity's other ships a few times now. Always enjoyable. First time on 'Connie'. Beautiful places visited. Fantastic butler for our Sky Suite. Likewise stateroom attendant, and everyone in the suite restaurant and in the suite lounge.

But there were a few hiccups. Celebrity were very good at apologising, and we appreciated that. It was nevertheless odd to be turned away from suite-class embarkation, being told that we didn't count as suite class, so had to queue with everyone else. A mistake, but not a good one.

It was also a bit of a situation in the Oceanview Café. This has been a real treasure on other ships in the fleet. Here, we did all we could to avoid it. Unfriendly staff who pretended people didn't exist. Awful food choice. I know it's only a 'quick bite' experience, not a main restaurant - but it was so noticeable as a difference. As someone who has to avoid particular ingredients because of illness, it was a nightmare to find anything to eat up there. That wasn't the case on other ships.

Cabin Review

Sky Suite 1

Cabin S1

Easily double the size of a standard cabin. Quite dark, with only one opening door for external light. But very relaxing and well fitted. Excellent Butler service with it. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
