My friends and I chose this cruise as a girls getaway, thinking it was decently priced. However, we were very disappointed. One friend was not able to make it due to a family medical emergency, and Carnival would not allow any person to take her place. Embarkation was very easy, but once we entered the boat we were unimpressed. The ship is very outdated. Once we got one we went to go get our buffet lunch and it was not good in any way. We had dry chicken nuggets, but the other choices were burgers, hot dogs and french fries, the french fries and cheese dip we also tasted and they were nothing special. The food the rest of the trip was not good, and we could not wait to get off to have some decent food. The only good part was the free, unlimited ice cream.

As for the pools, there was only one main pool with one slide and it was above ground and about as big as my neighbors underground pool. There was a tiny hot beside it that could hold about 4 people. On another deck there is one more pool, but it is even smaller and is crowded with more that 15 people in it, and it is also above ground. Beside it is one more hot tub that holds about 5 people. There only 2 more hot tubs and they are located on the Serenity deck, the 21 and over section.

We were on the lowest floor and our room was tiny and super outdated, along with the bathroom. There was also only one outlet in the entire room, which became a pain, not only for phone charging but also getting ready with hair straighteners and blow dryers.

We just booked an all inclusive resort, from resortforaday.com.

Totally worth it.
