This was a first time cruise for myself, husband and college age daughter. We sailed from NYC Manhattan. The embarkation was very simple and smooth (we arrived a bit late so we missed the large crowds). A few weeks prior to sailing we upgraded from a guaranteed balcony to the spa level balcony on the 14th floor plus a drink package for myself & my husband. The Spa level cabin included access to the thermal spa all week which was absolutely fantastic! The ceramic heated lounge chairs were amazing, we hit up this area almost every night before heading back out to the bars & entertainment areas.

Our cabin was very clean with plenty of space for storage the three of us had no issues with space. There were plenty of places to store personal items. Our room steward (Abdul) was outstanding! He called us by name from the minute we arrived until the final day & greeted us with a genuine smile and conversation. What a wonderful way to start each day. We looked forward to our towel animals and chocolates each night. The cabin was always spotless.

Dining was great, the food was always hot and was served quickly and efficiently. The only complaint that I have would be regarding dining was that several of the hostess were rude and seemed bothered when trying to make reservations or to be seated. All of the wait staff that we encountered were very friendly and accommodating. Not sure what was going on with the hostess's ....they were really the only ones that were rude. Read more
