Cabin: The Haven Owner's Suite with Large Balcony

Multiple time NCL cruiser, first time in the Haven. Will never be able to go 'back'. We were a party of 5....3 of us in Owner's suite 16700 on same d cl with haven lounge and restaurant, and 2 of us in cabin 11706. (The 11706‘ers very much envied our owner's suite with large balcony and location. ). Most relaxing cruise ever.....the hoards of people around the public pool with their lounge chairs squished together, and blaring music, made us always grateful to go back into the haven, whenever we ventured forth...a calm, less hectic place with no blaring music, lounge chairs reasonably placed, great service from Haven staff.....Ahhhhh.

Our owner's suite was wonderful, with the exception of the sofa bed, for our younger family member who slept uncomfortably on it for the week....even with the eggcrate topper we requested. Peter, our butler, and Nicolo, our room steward were wonderful. Thank you again Peter for bringing us the scones, clotted cream and jam for a special treat! (Although he never did bring the chains I requested so I could tie myself to the balcony on disembarkation day and stay over for next cruise.). Nicolo, or room steward, did an excellent job and was also very friendly, and joked with us. We appreciated their friendliness and willingness to provided whatever we requested (except for those chains). LOL. Great experience that I can't wait to repeat. Kudos to the cruise critic member who mentioned getting a porter on disembarkation day after picking up the luggage to go thru customs quicker....worked like a charm!

The Haven Owner's Suite with Large Balcony

Cabin H3

This cabin was the best! Balcony was spacious enough to fit 2 lounge chairs, 2 regular chairs and 2 round tables with room to spare. Depending on direction, it could occasionally get a bit breezy standing up, but once seated, very enjoyable. Best balcony ever! Bedroom was great, with a handy outlet next to bed (side closest to balcony). Another outlet was on the wall with the dressing table in the walk in closet (which is where the hair dryer is located). And a third convenient outlet next to the sofa in the 'living room'. Didn't need the extension cords I brought. Great roomy bathroom and comfortably large shower next to bedroom. Half bath was adequate. Only complaint...Sofa bed left much to be desired, even with the eggcrate topper we requested. My adult niece had a rough time sleeping in it, and would occasionally sneak a catnap on the king size bed during the day.
